INTERLÜBKE IN HAMBURG

Interlübke – uncompromising, minimalist
and unique furniture

In good shape since 1937. Specializing in the production of polished bedrooms with cupboards, chests of drawers and beds, the brothers Leo and Hans Lübke founded a furniture factory in Wiedenbrück, Westphalia. In the 1960s, the name Interlübke was created in connection with "interior" and "internationality" - made in Germany. The company's design achievements have received numerous awards for its innovative furniture ranges with a contemporary character.

The courage to promote a modern living style made Interlübke an industry pioneer for design-oriented furniture and furnishings fifty years ago. Clear design, mostly monochrome in white, was a defining feature of the brand. The carefully thought-out furniture designs are realized with true dedication, a good eye for detail and a great deal of tact. This results in furniture that is a faithful companion in life, with an unmistakable design and perfected down to the finest detail. With personality and emotion. Exactly how modern people want to live. Anywhere in the world. In Hamburg you will find both the design classics and all the new products from the Interlübke range at Bornhold on the Alsterufer.

OUR FAVORITE FROM INTERLÜBKE

Chest of drawers "Cube Fine"

Free in the room, standing on the wall or elegantly floating as a hanging version. Cube fine offers the highest level of refinement. With minimal joints, handleless fronts and pure proportions, cube fine stands for masterful reduction to the essentials. Presented in a presentable manner at Bornhold in Hamburg and available in every version: with open or closed elements, various types of handles and frames in various colors and materials such as fine walnut. Each Cube fine is an individual work of art.

Made in Germany with dedication and genuine craftsmanship

A CLASSIC FROM INTERLÜBKE

Wardrobe "Base"

Pleasantly pure on the outside, wonderfully receptive on the inside. The basis for everyday items or treasures that you like to collect. Perfect that Base is practically an endless cupboard that can be expanded as needed. The cupboards are quickly assembled by our specialist staff and are extremely flexible when it comes to additions to the interior of the cupboard. For storage space that grows with your child, so to speak. Typical Interlübke.

THE FAST ONE BY WALTER KNOLL

shell chair "Kyo"

Everything revolves around them. The elegant shell chairs from Walter Knoll have been coveted for generations and have long since achieved cult status. Curved lines, gentle curves and striking seam patterns characterize the Kyo model as a typical piece of furniture from Walter Knoll. Designed by Pearson Lloyd, it won the Red Dot Design Award.

The Kyo shell chair envelops its owner in high-quality upholstery in a sweeping, elegant manner – like the seat of a sports car. The shell, which is either covered in plastic or completely in leather on the outside, is easy to rotate. With a classic four-legged base. Or in the new versions with a harmonious five-legged base and castors for freedom of movement all around.

CARPETS BY WALTER KNOLL

Chimbuka Carpet

There is a Swahili saying: “A good beginning promises a good ending.” Chimbuka means sunrise, and the design reflects the colors of the sky: intense reds and blues as they shine in the morning or evening light.

Walter Knoll's carpets, created in collaboration with textile designer Helmut Scheufele, were inspired by the landscapes and colors of Africa. They draw their strength from the rich creativity of the African continent and are translated into timeless, knotted works of art.

WHAT MAKES INTERLÜBKE FURNITURE SPECIAL

> Attention to detail. Many small differences add up to something big – and that is what makes interlübke furniture so special. Each model is a small work of art with clever ideas.

> Minimal and uncompromising design. Unconditionally modern and innovative. For 80 years. This is how classics are created that endure.

> Create unique pieces. Universal classics, but also individually adapted pieces of furniture. Made to measure in colors, dimensions, fittings and cable holes, always in accordance with the highest industrial standards of precision and workmanship.

> Best quality. This applies to design, raw materials and processing.

> Various design awards. Most recently the German Design Award 2020 in gold for the just cube series.

> Functionality and technical finesse. This is what sets interlübke's cabinets apart, for example the opening mechanism of the sliding door cabinet, which can be opened silently and simply at the touch of a finger.

> Made in Germany. Interlübke focuses on values rather than quick turnaround, because it enjoys beautiful results.
